The Yellow Fellow

Sometimes a room needs a certain something but you don’t know it until you spot that certain something and snatch it up.When I spotted this little yellow fellow at Stockport’s Vintage Village I knew instantly that yes, I did need a vintage veg rack despite never having previously known it.That’s a bit of a lie I suppose! When we lived in our previous house we had a rather large kitchen (in comparison to our current matchbox of a kitchen) and I searched high and low for a vintage veg rack only to see them selling off for insane figures like £70 on eBay. No, just no. I let the thought of a vintage veg rack float out of my mind.

We have no room whatsoever in our kitchen for this veg rack, however I had a bit of a change around in my study just after the new year and the little yellow fellow will work perfectly as both an in tray, an out tray and a catch all basket under my desk.
