HOW TO MAKE STRAWBERRIES LAST LONGER

It’s strawberry season but once those juicy berries are picked you’ve either got to eat them damn quick or work to make them last longer.

HOW TO MAKE STRAWBERRIES LAST LONGER

1. Take them out of their packaging, spray with white vinegar and allow to sit for 5 mins, then rinse with cold water.

2. Gently pat partially dry.

3. Lay the strawberries out on a clean and dry tea towel and allow to air dry.

3. Place them into a storage container and line with either kitchen towel or a clean tea towel and pop in the fridge.

I find this increases the life of a strawberry (in fact any berry) by a good few days!
