What to wear at Royal Ascot
- Royal Enclosure (Ladies): Large headwear is required and dresses must fall at least to the knee. Dresses with thin straps, halter neck and strapless styles should be avoided. Midriffs should also be covered.
- Village Enclosure: Ladies should dress in formal attire and follow the rules for the Royal Enclosure. However, they should choose smaller hats or fascinators.
- Windsor Enclosure: While there isn’t a formal dress code for the Windsor Enclosure area, smart daywear should be worn.
What to wear at York Races
- The Grandstand and Paddock do not have a formal dress code, but many guests dress up to enjoy the event.
- There is no dress-code in the Clocktower Enclosure. Clothing should be comfortable, practical and stylish.
What to wear at the Cheltenham Races
The official dress code for the Cheltenham Festival is not known. Most guests dress in smart, traditional race day attire to make the most out of their experience.
