So I’ve Missed A Few ::t52mmmc:: Weeks 6-12 (Crochet Squares)

Ooops, so, I missed a few weeks of The 52MMM Challenge there didn’t I? Please forgive me. I was ill and then I was busy catching up on what I’d missed at work whilst I was ill so hadn’t had time to catch up on the challenge without feeling pressured and well, that’s not what The 52MMMC is about. It should be relaxed and enjoyable. So here’s the project I caught up on.Weeks 6,7,8, 9, 10, 11 and 12. Crochet Squares. It took me a while (poor sore fingers) and I was working at the rate of oooh about 3 a week or something. I was going to make a blanket with them but I have my mind set on something else which I’ll show you when I get round to it. They’re quite large in size and have used up a a chunk of scrap yarn that has been sitting around doing nothing for years.

Now, I don’t have grass in my garden and it’s a bit on the pokey side, so I nipped to the park to take these photos. I attracted some funny looks, especially when I was balancing on one foot trying not to get my shadow in the shot.I’d attracted quite a crowd after about three minutes. With cries of ‘oi wool girl, wotcha doin’?’ and similar fired left, right and centre, it appears da yoof of Manchester aren’t down wid croc-it-ing. Perhaps I’ll crochet something that can cover up the slice of pants they are so desperate to share with the general public when they wear them hanging half way down their arse.Do feel free to join in with the challenge should you wish. We have people jumping in all the time and as you can see it’s a pretty relaxed set up. Your year will start on the date you start your first project and finish a year from that date. Please let me know if you’re going to join in so I can be nosy.
