Here at Thrifty Towers we do our best to eat seasonally where possible because not only does it reduce our carbon footprint but it’s a great way to save money. If you can, try to find a local greengrocer or market and ask them if they have any offers or what they can do you a deal on. We often hand over a fiver to our favourite fruit and veg guy and come away with two grab bags full of fresh and tasty vegetables which would have cost at least three times that amount in the supermarket.
