Scarf 2014

Scarf 2014

Essential to any winter wardrobe is a decent scarf. I stumbled across this one when wading through the (stupidly huge) Primark in the centre of Manchester with Mikhila from Miss Budget Beauty last week. Although it is 100% acrylic it is deliciously soft and once swathed within its huge layers it is lovely and warm. Coming in at only a fiver the value can’t be beaten and it’s great to feel not only warm but stylish on a budget. I’ve dressed this sucker up to wear to formal events (along with a fab new to me mustard coat I picked up for £4 in a charity shop) over the weekend and also paired it with more causal outfits whilst taking the dog for a walk. The houndstooth pattern is one which may make a resurgence in popularity every few years but it always remains a true classic.
