We’re moving house. Actually scratch that, we’re saving up to move house. We’re saving for a deposit for a house which is going to take some time, some cut backs and some organisation but it is something we’re really excited about. In the few short months we’ve been seriously saving we’ve discovered we need to implement a system of organisation because we have receipts scattered across each of our desks and notes about budgets, mortgages and ISAs taking up our usually very. We need to contain the mess and get it organised. At the weekend after a bit of research I finally bit the bullet and took my birthday gift cards off to Staples (yes I get have an addiction to stationery and my friends like to feed it, sssh) to buy some supplies. I’d been swooning over the gorgeous for some time, I’d already used a couple of her well thought out products for work projects with great success, so I knew the extra expense would be worth it. You see Martha’s products aren’t cheap but they are (in my opinion at least) well thought out, good quality and beautiful. Most of the stickers can be peeled off and used time and time again, you can wipe off your writing from the pand start again, magnets are added to pieces routinely and there are useful hidden pockets and slots using up otherwise wasted spaces. I knew I was going to go to the shop and drool, then chicken out and buy something cheaper and regret it but that’s a battle I’ll always fight in my life. But, but, but…I may have definitely squealed when I got to the duck egg blue section of the store which houses the Martha Stewart range, because the products were on a 3 for 2 offer, meaning I got the 6 items I had on my list for the price of
Here’s what I picked up:
This range is only available at at the moment and it is a much smaller range than they have over the ocean in America, however it is great to see style and function represented in neat packages. I know a lot of people are big fans of this range so I thought it would be useful to let you know about the 3 for 2 deal so you can save yourself some money. I always seem to have an instinctive eye for more expensive items but I always make sure I hold out for a good deal or discount. The discounts are represented a little differently on the Staples website but nevertheless they’re still there – just make sure you factor tax into those online prices.
