Over the weekend, as you may have read here, Mr Thrifty and our family took off to a beautiful seaview cottage in Whitby to celebrate my mother in law’s birthday. We did lots of mooching about, up and down hills and pottering in and out of pretty shops and art galleries.
Whilst I was drooling at the window of Jenny’s gorgeous shop Bespoke Country, Mr Thrifty was looking in the window of an art gallery/cafe and spotted something he thought was made for me. I hadn’t seen what exactly it was that was meant for me but he marched me into the gallery, up the stairs, lots of stairs and told me to ask the man for the rabbit brooch in the window.
‘Rabbit??’ I said.I wasn’t aware of being particularly well known for my association with rabbits but I did as I was told and asked.
After a while the gallery owner came back (I think the poor guy had to climb into the window, over a fence and down a big drop to get it for me) and handed it to me and I knew exactly what Mr Thrifty meant.Big thanks to Mr Thrifty for buying it, you big soppy lummoxEDIT: By the way after a quick Google I cam across the EllyMental website where you can view and buy similar jewellery.
