Homemade Food Gifts for Christmas

I love nothing more than feeding the faces of folk and come Christmas I get immense pleasure from spending a day or two in the kitchen making homemade food gifts to hand out to neighbours, friends and family. Giving the gift of food is not only delicious but meaningful and fun.

  1. I love giving homemade food presents at Xmas! Mum and I have been cooking up batches of marmalade and chutney for the last couple of weeks and we have last year’s mincemeat as well, which we’ve been feeding with Brandy like crazy! Some delicious ideas here too!

On the subject of homemade gifts, when I told my work mates I was making this…!http://livlifetoo.blogspot.co.uk/2013/11/diy-homemade-kahlua-3-versions.html for my mum for Christmas, they thought I was crazy and cheap, but not only is this version 1. free (I have everything in already), 2. easy. 3. fun but most importantly 4. my mum will love this AND the present I bought with the money I saved, what’s cheap about that? I call it thrifty and generous!
