I hope you had a nice weekend? Oh good, I'm glad because now it is time to get your lazy arse in gear and sort out your pig sty of a home. Ooh I tried the harsh approach there and I'm not sure it suited me or A Thrifty Mrs as a whole.
Here are a few prompts for getting your house in order...or y'know, not - whatever you want really
Monday --- Take everything off your desk and give it a good clean out.
Tuesday --- Try to empty your inbox. Yeah, I know. Look if you can answer or get rid of 50% I bet you'll be pleased.
Wednesday --- Clean your oven. Check back on Wednesday for a dedicated post on this topic.
Thursday --- Throw out any old, dried out make up.
Friday --- Clean your table mats. Apparently people aren't doing this after every use? C'mon folks, give 'em a wipe.
Saturday --- Run a cloth around your letter box, especially if it has bristly brushes.
Sunday --- Disinfect your wheelie bin.

ReplyDeleteOven cleaning...need help big time. Buying a house and move in next week. The oven there is pure filth.....lucky me. Plus we rent at the mo and need to leave ours in a way that gets our deposit back. Is it this Wednesday to look ur for oven cleaning post? Gem x x

ReplyDeleteI love your housewifery prompts - I'm a lazy person by nature but like to have a clean house, so gives me the kick up the backside necessary to get off my bum and do things!
ReplyDeleteAh I do love these blog posts with your housewifery prompts, gets me all hyped up and ready to clean, and most importantly reminds me of certain things that I need to do. Have just cleaned out my inbox today, tomorrow I'm going to attack my clothes and organise and donate/sell those I don't wear/ don't need.
