Monday --- Sort through and organise one clothes drawer. Take a look at my post about organising a clothes drawer if you're need of inspiration.
Tuesday --- Do you have a shoe dumping ground? Is it by your front door or in your hallway or even in your bathroom like one mucky pup friend of mine? Wherever it is go and sort it out. Return shoes to their proper homes, give the dirty ones a wipe clean and respect those pieces of leather you parted with money for.
Wednesday --- Weed out all of those crappy cleaning products you have sitting under your kitchen sink. Is there really any need for 6 half empty bottles of multi-surface cleaner? Really? Check back on Wednesday to read my post on thrifty cleaning must haves. I'll be sharing my cleaning kit. Excitement...ummm...maybe?
Thursday --- Wipe down the skirting boards in one room. Just one one room. Do it with a wet cloth and then straight back over with a dry one.
Friday --- Give your kitchen draining board the scrubbing of its life.

ReplyDeleteI have been putting off doing the skirting boards in my bedroom for about 3 weeks, but I want to paint in there, so I guess this is the kick up the behind I needed! x
ReplyDeleteThe shoe corner in our hallway is a shoe mountain now, it'll take me a while to sort but defo needs doing. Not least to stop the kids from playing with and running around in my fave high heels! Thanks for the kick up the jacksy I needed!
ReplyDeleteI must admit, I do my skirting boards once a week and I use water and fabric softener and it makes my house smell beautiful :)
