At the time of taking this photograph I'd been wearing this nail polish, after applying it in the back of the car (you can so tell) on the way to visit a friend (1 light coat over a Sally Hansen base coat), for 2 days and there's barely a chip or dent which is more than a tad pleasing for someone who chips nail polish faster than...umm...something really fast. What's really fast? Ummm that running man...errrr.
Anyway, I like it. I love, love, love the colour, it wears well and I picked it up for a mere pound. Aces.
TTFN,
P.S. What nail polish are you wearing today?

I really like asda nail polishes as well I have smarty pants and jeopardy and they are really good quality considering they are so cheap.

I'll keep my eye out for those shades.
DeleteBargain! I'm more of a fan of pink.. I think today's polish is Essie, which is quite fancy for me!
ReplyDeleteI've got 5 george nail polishes + i absolutly love them!Defiantly recommend them and I love the colour your wearing! xx
ReplyDeleteI'm also a blue lover, and am wearing navy by Barry M, which is GORGEOUS, perfect midnight blue. You will find your nail varnish chips a lot less if you do a topcoat. Seche Vite is amazing - I buy it on eBay. It also dries your nail varnish really really quickly - in a 20 minute train journey I did base coat, two coats of polish and seche vite, and it was dry enough not to smudge when I got off. (although admittedly not ultra bone dry, I could have messed it up if I'd scraped my nails against my keys for example. But still pretty bloody good.)
ReplyDeleteI have that Barry M one, it is perfect.
DeleteI don't work for them or anything!
ReplyDeleteI've not tried asda nail varnishes yet. Might do now tho :) xxx

I picked up a few of these polishes for a £1 each the other day too, such bargains! They differ in quality from colour to colour I've found xxx
ReplyDeleteIt looks really similar to Poolside Blue by No7! I'm wearing a blue today - All Might by Sinful Colors which I found in a pound shop!
ReplyDeleteI have always loved george nail varnishes and they do last ages!!!! I normally put 3 coats on and a top coat I can get four days out of them no problems!! Also Claires nail polish is really goos. I got two bottles for 1.50 in the sale today so 75p a bottle!!! And they last 8 days with a top coat!
ReplyDeleteThat is impressive and well worth knowing.
Deletei am now expecting a post called '8 things i do at the back of a car'. :P
ReplyDeletelove asda polish. god this little jewel called beach bum to blog about but my nails are too short for it xx
liloo/@tsunimee xx
Haha! I'll get working on it. I like to multi-task.
DeleteI change my nail colour almost every day so chipping doesn't worry me too much... I'll have to try these Asda ones!
ReplyDeleteToday I'm wearing No.7 - Poppy
Nice colour. I'm wearing 17 Supreme Shine in Wave - a lovely not-too-bright turquoise. I'm currently on the hunt for a nice orange-red within my £5 budget but am not having much luck, so if you or any other commenter has any suggestions, I'm all ears
ReplyDeleteThat's lovely, I'm in love with blue polish at the minute. I've never tried any George polish but it looks really good for the price! I'm wearing Wet n Wild Buffy the Violet Slayer on one hand and Barry M Blue Moon on the other (taking photos for blog but didn't want to change both hands!)
ReplyDeleteHaven't tried these will pick some up next time I go to asda. My favourite nail varnish brand is Technic I buy them from Bodycare they're also only a pound or sometimes cheaper I got some on a 3 for 2 they hardly ever chip just wear down at the very tip of your nail after 4/5 days which can easily be touched up with another coat as they're still really smooth. I have a big collection of more expensive brands which have totally gone unloved since I discovered Technic x
ReplyDeleteI really love Technic!
DeleteThey also dry really fast and come off with one swipe of a nail polish remover soaked cotton pad x
ReplyDeleteCurrently wearing Essence - No more Drama! One of my fave nail polish brands! I'm also a huge fan of blue polish, but currently favoring purple over every single one of them!
ReplyDeleteive tried the George nail polishes and think theyre fab!
ReplyDeletei love the shade Confusion, but your blue shade is beautiful!

Mind you I have Coty sixty seconds which I got out of the 99 p shop and it is no 16, which is like a coral colour and is very nice. Wilko do a brand called miss beauty and they do 3 for 2 pound. I wear them for woek. I can only afford no 7 when it is on offer. I also like no 17, miss sporty, NYC and sinful colors which is also out of the 99p shop. At the moment I think I have lots and I mean lots of lots of nail polish. Last count 100 bottles!!!
ReplyDeleteMy best buy was a brand new bottle of Chanel Vernis nail polish for 50p out of the charity shop!!! but I do love funky colours!!!
I love bright nail varnishes but I don't actually own a blue nail varnish so I may try this!

I have on a tribute mani for a local racecar driver who was tragically killed. You can see it on my blog just click my name to view my profile :)
ReplyDeleteoooh looks so lovely and retro , i have the lilac one from asda :)
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the Barry M magnetic range at the moment! Little bit more pricey than you £1 George one, but creates and amazing effect on your nails! And at the moment they have buy one get on half price in Superdrug, the only flaw I would say is that they only have four colours at present and they are all dark colours!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work
George nail paint is good but hard to find :) I've got a yellow and possibly a pink from George. Might have to keep an eye out for this blue in future xx
ReplyDeletePretty!
ReplyDeleteI like the blue colour. It's pretty. Thanks for sharing, I do sometimes wonder if cheap polish is actually worth it. But I think it might be, after your recommendations.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't resist this one either. Great polishes for £1. I also got the Boots no. 7 fast dry topcoat recently with one of the £5 vouchers and its fantastic. I slightly ruined my frugalism by then buying an Essie polish for about eight quid. Oops.
ReplyDeleteI love my LA Colors (99p from Beauty Base... hunt it out if you're ever dahn saahf) but I think next time I'm in Asda I will be picking up one of these!
ReplyDeleteThat colour's amazing! I'm definitely going to look out for it! Fiona :)x
