My most recent finds have been these two nail enamels by Revlon. The yellow is Sunshine Sparkle (042) which I understand to be a limited edition from 2011. It has a slight shimmer to it but only very slight. The pink glittery one is Sparkling (261) and actually replaces a bottle of the very same which I bought at full price in Boots so I was more than chuffed to find it for a quid. The flecks of glitter are both chunky and teeny tiny and can be layered up pretty nicely with a few coats. Mmmm I likey.
The cheapest place I found these online is here and here but forget that, get down to Poundland and see if you can find them at a bargain basement price.
Bargains or what?
TTFN,
P.S. Yeah I'm not fab at putting on nail polish, I just like purty colours.

my closest poundland never has any good nail polish or make up like i see others on here finding! maybe thats a good excuse to go shopping in the city lol x
ReplyDeleteI started using nail polish again a little while ago. I like more muted colors though . I found out that Revlon is not available anymore in the Netherlands. Which is strange, I think.
ReplyDeleteI saw your last post and went to PoundLand and PoundWorld. They had loads of stuff! I love the glitter nail polish!

I got the very same yellow polish from my local poundland. Snap!
ReplyDeleteI would never have thought of looking in Poundland for nail varnish, but the yellow is gorgeous! Thanks! Fiona :)x

I buy all my revlon polishes from a place in Glasgow called Watt Brothers and they only cost me 1.99 each. Its been around for about 80 years, people associate it with pensioner clothing but they sell high quality makeup and polishes. I love it :D xx
ReplyDeleteOoh, I'm definitely going to have to pop into Poundland soon, I wasn't aware that you could find high-street cosmetic brands in there. It's definitely on the up! And the good thing is that polishes don't go out of fashion in the same way that clothes do...or at least not at quite the same speed. Love the yellow shade.

I always pop into Poundland (and Pound world) to pick up some beauty basics such as Johnson's face wipes, bumper packs of cotton buds etc) recently I've noticed how good their make-up's been getting, particularly Rimmel, Revlon and NYC.
ReplyDeleteIt seems ridiculous to shell-out £3/4 on a nail varnish which you can get there for a fraction of the price.
Great colour combo btw x
Revlon makes great polishes. One of my favorite brands. Definitely great frugal finds.

I really like that yellow one. I'm going to look out for it. X
ReplyDeleteThose look so good! There's a Poundland near to where I'm currently working and I've already bought a really chunky gold polish from there, am going to take another peek tomorrow to see what others they have :)
ReplyDeleteI've seen the likes of these in Poundland, absolute bargain. Also I've been looking out for some yellow polish that's wearable, definitely I'll be searching for this particular one! :)
