New Look Blog | A Thrifty Mrs

The more observant among you may have noticed a few cheeky changes over here at A Thrifty Mrs! There are a few more to come – just a bit of ironing out and tying up of loose ends but it is pretty much there. The old look was getting a bit too cluttered up for my liking and you lot surely know by now what I’m like when it comes to organising. Too much stuff? CHUCK IT OUT!

My fab, and rather beautiful header was designed by the lovely and very talented Michelle of Miss Allen Design & Illustration. She has designed logos and headers for some of the blogs and websites I most admire so I knew she’d be the right person. She was able to make something lovely from my incoherent babble and is one of the sweetest people on the internet. Win. Yeah, I said ‘win’ like I’m Charlie Sheen or something.

The space for posts is now bigger, meaning photographs will be larger and hopefully clearer. And hopefully, all round it is just easier to find things without having to stare at a million little pieces of writing – which bugged me no end on the previous design.

I just wanted A Thrifty Mrs to be fun, simple and easy to navigate, hopefully it is!

Anywhoo, I hope you like it, I do! There will be a few little tweaks added in the next week or so. I’m not quite finished yet because I need to observe the changed for a few days and get a feel for the flow of things – ooh wanky.

P.S. You can find Michelle’s design work here and follow her on Twitter here. Be nice but don’t touch her with your grubby paws, y’hear?
