The MUA Undressed Palette

02/07/2012

A while back it seemed like the world and his wife went a bit crazy for MUA's bargain Heaven and Earth palette. I read article after article about just how great it was and I just had to own it and see what the fuss was really about. I've loved using it because the shades are so workable and easy, plus the price (£4) is fan-flipping-tastic, I've even gone onto replace it after hitting pan on a number of the shades.

However it has now been bumped from its position at the top of my favourite palettes list to be replaced by MUA's new Undressed* palette. Coming in, like the Heaven and Earth at just £4 - FOUR POUNDS, this palette has 12 easy to wear shades and the pigmentation is just fantastic.

The shimmery shades seem to show up better in photographs than the mattes, however the matte shades work well on the eye. And even though I don't wear a lot of matte eyeshadow I've found them great to wear on their own for an easy daytime look. The shimmery shades are perfection in my book. Great colours, easily blendable and a smooth formula.

MUA Undressed

I've found they last well enough on their own but with a primer (I've tried both MAC paint pots and ELF eyelid primer) they're pretty much unbudgeable. The Undressed Palette, is near identical to the hugely popular and famous Urban Decay Naked palette and if you have a little read of this post by Midnight Violets you'll be able to see just how close a dupe it really is.

I love this palette and can easily see myself buying it time and again especially because it is such great value for money.

You can find the MUA Undressed palette in Superdrug and on the MUA site.

P.S. Have you tried any of the MUA palettes? Which are your favourites?
