July Shout Out

15/07/2012

As with every month I simply cannot believe how much of the year as been eaten away. Can we really be in the middle of July? This month, once again, I've been sponsored by some lovely, lovely people who make it possible for me to dedicate hours upon hours to this little corner of the web. A big huge shout out and THANK YOU to you all and also of course a thank you to all of you who stick by me and read my posts everyday. I hope you're enjoying the extra posts I've been putting out recently?

If you're interested in sponsoring A Thrifty Mrs take a quick look at my advertising page here.

I've been internet friends with Sian, one of the brains behind Dashing Divas for years. Her enthusiasm for everything she puts her mind to is simply infectious. If you like to keep fit, actually even if you don't then reading this blog is a joy.
Current swoon: Pretty in Pink

If you're a vintage and retro fan like me you'll be well aware that most of the sizes are for slim folk so I'm chuffed to bits that Well Rounded Retro make it their business to track down lovely bits and bobs for us larger ladies. Can I get a hurrah!
Current swoon: Polka Diamonds Dress

Oh me, oh my I love kitsch jewellery and this little lady makes me happy. Her website is so, so, so pretty plus she has the most fun selection of gorgeous jewellery this side of ummm, the internet.
Current swoon: This rather fab elephant necklace

New to sponsoring A Thrifty Mrs, Friviolous Mrs D is a blog run by fringe-of-envy owner, Elena who runs a cupcakery and hosts tea parties - is that not the best job ever? Her blog documents her life including beauty, homemaking and outfit posts.

Briar Rose Beauty is a blog run by a frankly gorgeous and not to mention sweet woman who both writes and makes videos about beauty and life with small folk. She knows her stuff and talks about it with great enthusiasm, I especially love her videos.

Curious Miss Clay is an online shop selling beautiful purses and make up bags along with gadget sleeves and hair accessories. The fabrics, styles and over all look of the products are right up my street. I love the bright colours and the fact they're all different to anything you'd find on the highstreet.

The goodies at Miso Funky make me pant a bit like a dog who is extremely excited at the thought of you throwing half a sausage under the table when you've been too hungover to remember to feed him at the normal time. Cross stitch iphone cases? Oh hella yeah.

Discount Coder rather sweetly help me out with my Saturday Savings posts. They ping me over lots of great discounts codes to add to the ones I've already tracked down and I officially love them for helping me out like that. Their site has lots of other codes, so do check it out.

I can't get enough of this site. Jam packed full of reviews, listings and details of great vintage events across Manchester and the surrounding area. Vinatge Manchester is the go-to guide for any vintage maven in the north west.

Vintage Fee is a lovely 21 year old Scottish lay-dee who owns a little cakery in the south of England. Her blog chronicles her changing life, starting a business, cooking, make up, freebies and a mirriad of interesting and fun things. I heart her blog background too much.

Even though, in 'real life' I am utterly terrified of Pigeons I really like this one because she is a real life human lady and a nice one at that. She is a thrifty type bird who has all sorts of tips for lasting through to pay day and making every penny count. She'll be getting married soon, so I'm excited to see how she pulls it off on a budget. Congrats!

Oh yay, oh yay, oh ya vintage goodies. Ooh yeah lov-er-ly finds. I love the lady behind this shop and I LOVE this shop.

Gorgeous dresses crafted in Cheshire by the hands of a very talented woman who has a bit of a thing for a great fabric and pleasing to the eye polka dots.

No one wants to spend more than they have to on appliances, we'd rather be spending on...umm gin. Appliance Planet are fab and I can highly recommend them.
