I have however put together a little video of things I've bought from eBay over the last few months. A mixture of things I've already featured here on the blog along with things I haven't.
If you can't view the embedded version click here to go directly to the video page on YouTube.
I'm really enjoying making videos at the moment but don't have time to make as many as I'd like. I know some of you love the videos and some of you don't and that's fine however at the moment I'm putting out an average of 10 posts per week so it seems fair to feature a video over here from time to time.
I'm planning to do some more room tours because the tour of our bedroom which you can find here proved popular. If you have any video requests do of course let me know and I'll see what I can do.
TTFN,
P.S. I blogged earlier today and the photos are both scary and hilarious. Enjoy.

Great selection!!

I've pretty much given up on the charity shops, so fed up searching through rails of over priced Primark clothing. since reading a post you did on eBay i've become a bit of an addict. I have recently bought my two year old daughter three lovely skirts for under £2 each with postage of £1. Cheaper than a charity shop and I didn't even need to get off the sofa!!
ReplyDeleteWill pop along and watch video right away. I'm in the 'love the videos' camp. It's good to see how bubbly, bright and slightly bonkers (in the best possible way) you are in person and they definitely brighten my day!
ReplyDeleteJem xXx
That nail varnish close up where you slowly took the brush out of the bottle and put it back in felt like the weirdest kind of nail varnish porn. (As opposed to the normal kinds...)
ReplyDeleteThe strangest search terms are going to lead people to your blog now because of this comment.
Also, I definitely need to get my hands on a handbag organiser!
I'm also in the video camp. I think videos are a great way to show things that are difficult to describe in words, and a good addition to a blog's existing content.
ReplyDeletei'm afraid I too have shunned the charity shop for the aisles of ebay, It is a sad day when laminated floors and coloured coded clothes have replaced having a jolly good rummage there are a few gems left but far and few between :( rx
ReplyDeleteI have actually never watched one of your videos but I have to say you have made my day! your fricking nuts!
ReplyDeleteI wish I lived in manchester in the hopes I would meet your crazy self.
x
I have clearly been under a rock because I hadn't realised you were making all these videos.
ReplyDeleteI could listen to your voice all day!
I like your song. Please sing me a song one day. Please, thank you, bye.

You are totally turning me on to eBay these days! I've always been a bit afraid of it, but I'm getting excited to start checking it out! I'm def going to get some of the handbag organizers for Christmas presents and maybe even make some jewelry for pals with some of your tips in earlier blog posts!
ReplyDeleteP.S. LOVE the videos! I found your YouTube channel before your blog! :)

never bought off e-Bay before.

OMG you cracked me up when you dropped the rollers! :)
ReplyDeleteLove your blog. Love the youtube clips. You are full of drive and charisma. On the other hand however ... I have noticed that you are looking a little 'puffy'. I am just a bit concerned because you seem like someone I know even though you do not know me. You are naturally beautiful with good features, lovely colouring, shiny hair, and fabulous skin. Engaging voice and strong literacy skills. So this is why I am concerned. Please look after your body weight if that is the issue. Please run along to the GP if it is something else. Your followers really do care.
ReplyDeleteHi Louise,
DeleteWell first thanks for the pep talk about my charisma.
Secondly I don't know how long you have been reading my blog or watching my videos but I have explained about my weight a number of times. You see I have a pretty serious illness and I am medicated to the hilt which may cause some of the puffiness you seem so desperately concerned about. I'm not a big fan of what the medication has done to me but for the moment it is either take it and function or not take it and find my self in hospital unable to walk, with an immune system which cannot function. At all.
Even so, even if I was shoving cakes down my trap from the second I wake to the very moment I fall into a bed filed with cream cheese, chips and umm something else puffy...let's see...CREAM PUFFS then I can't see as how it is any of your business whatsoever. What you've done in your comment right there is fat shamed me but thinly bop veiled it with concern and it just isn't on
Now my phone won't let me edit so excuse me if my 'literacy skills' aren't quite up to scratch, iPhones have a tendency to negate those anyway.
DeleteBut please think about what you are saying. You may think from reading 6 paragraphs of text from me per day or seeing 3 videos a month that you know me and that means you can say what you like but you don't know me. And you've upset me terribly
Some great finds :) xxx

Jeez, some people really should think before posting their 'concerns'. How bloody rude.
ReplyDeleteI loved your reply, and I hope you don't dwell too much on the comment although I know that is very hard to do.
Take care
I love these videos. :)
ReplyDeleteIgnore the 'concern' nonsense. Rude, patronising, judgmental so-and-so.
I for one have nothing but admiration for your work, and furthermore I think you're a top gal. And something tells me I'm not alone amongst your loyal readers...
Great video. I LOVE the musical interludes with the nail varnish and the bag, it reminded me of when they showed the kids paintings on Tony Hart's programmes!
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge believer in 'buy it now' eBaying - it's unusual for it not to be the cheapest way to buy something, especially if you know quite specifically what you want. I love just picking a category and browsing on 'Price plus P&P low-high', I spend hours at it, haha.
Love your blog!

Great post - definitely feeling those handbag organisers :) x
