Bonjour, happy Monday and all that type of stuff. Another week another set of Daily Housewifery Prompts to get you off your backside and your house sorted with minimal effort. Good yeah.

Daily Housewifery Prompts

Monday >>>> Soak your dishwashing sponge in a bowl of boiling water with 100ml of white vinegar added. Take out when the water has started to cool.

Tuesday >>>> Chuck out any gross food in your fridge.

Wednesday >>>> Wipe down the inside of your fridge with a wet sponge and bicarbonate of soda. Dry with a cloth.

Thursday >>>> Put a small bowl of bicarbonate of soda in the back of your fridge. It will act as freshener for a month or so.

Friday >>>> Test your fire alarms.

Saturday >>>> Assign a place for your keys to live - make sure it is accessable to you but not in the view of your front door for safety purposes

Sunday >>>> Soak your hair brush in a solution of 75% water, 25% white vinegar and remove all hair from the bristles.

I like the Thursday promt but thought I'd let you know that after I have squeezed a lemon of it's juice instead of throwing it away I hollow it out a bit with a teaspoon and put bicarb in there. Then I put that in the fridge. The bicarb takes away the nasty smells and the lemon leaves it smelling zesty! :)

  3. Ah we never have to test our fire alarms sadly, they go off soon enough when the ovens on. So hyper sensitive which I know is a good thing but when you're just cooking a pizza it's annoying!
