It is the second week of Daily Housewifery Prompts or DHP (which you can follow on Twitter using the hashtag #dhwprompts ), I hope the prompts are slotting in nicely to you life so far?
These tasks aren't designed to be the be all and end all of keeping your home ticking over - I'll soon be sharing more of my easy cleaning regime which keeps Thrifty Towers clean(ish) and tidy(ish) without too much hassle or toil. These tasks are just easy things you can do in under 5 minutes which can build up over months and months. We all want to spend longer with our feet up and G&T in hand, right? So get on it!
Here you go, this weeks Daily Housewifery Prompts.

Am loving these prompts, but I have a problem in that if I follow Saturday's prompt, I have no clean knickers for Sunday! lol
ReplyDeleteI have been following these everyday and the house hasn't looked better, plus I'm not such a stress head because doing a little everyday combats my husband's messy tendencies. Ha! Win!
ReplyDeleteOh dear,I wouldn't have anything left in my underwear drawer! :0)
ReplyDeleteI completed all off your list last week and am pleased to say this week should be good one too! Mainly because I have already done a few of them!

I will go kicking and screaming to take my cushion covers off my sofa and chairs. My cushions are plump and it's so difficult getting the covers off and on and the living room ends up looking a masacre in a chicken farm. I only do it twice a year (should I have shared that?):D
ReplyDeleteThank you SO much telling us about the DVD storage book a few posts back. I bought one and it has freed up a very nice cs glass cabinet which I can now use for my cookery books and another shelf which is needed in a walk-in cupboard. xx
Brilliant tips again this week, I may have to note these down somewhere to remind myself to do them!
