My Life in Instagrams

Sometimes life can be a blur and you can easily forget the small things that happen. The flowers you've had on your table, the colour of the sky, what Mr Thrifty wore on a particularly funny day or cake on your plate. I love Instagram because you can document the small things - and it's the small things that make the difference in life.

The camera on my iPad isn't fantastic but I still really love snapping photos to Instagram and I'm currently looking out for the best site to print them off from. Any recommendations? Especially for good shipping rates to the UK.
You can find me on Instagram @athriftymrs

TTFN,

P.S. Are you an Instagram addict?

  5. Usually all the printing sites give you several free prints (around 50) the first time you use them! Google "free photo prints" for a website listing all the current deals. :)

  7. Love the coke bottle as a vase idea!

    I'm not sure about photo printing sites, I generally just print them myself if I print them at all because I got a photo printer for my birthday many a year ago but if you wanted to get them transferred to canvas I'd recommend having a go at doing it yourself. It actually looks insanely easy and those photo-to-canvas sites are awfully expensive.
    There's a tutorial for that here --> http://abeautifulmess.typepad.com/my_weblog/2011/10/make-your-own-canvas-portrait.html

  9. I love Instagram. I've had square prints from Photobox but they're a little too big for the quality, they look a bit blurred. The best thing I've seen was a collage made in Picasa then printed on to canvas - I think she did 9x9 so 81 tiny pictures. It looked fab.
    And not exactly prints but I totally love Stickygram. They look US but are actually UK based so delivery is mega-quick too.

  10. Love all your photos, really cute shoes peeping out. I'm a big love of hipstomatic at the minute, but I do keep forgetting which is my favourite lense and film. So got my big Cannon camera out this week. I have used photobox just for calendars and they have printed out hipstomatic really well, Have you tried printing.com, they are really awesome with printing most things. Becca

  13. Love the T-shirt of Mr Thrifty's. Awesome. It's definitely the little things and I've become a bit obsessive with the Android/Non-Apple version of Instagram- Molome. It's great to be able to capture and share all sorts of my pictures and to make my less than perfect ones look a bit better.
